In most conventional Christian faiths, the only spiritual being to steer humans is assumed to be the Holy Spirit. Any other sort of non secular based guide is typically said to be of a most likely demonic nature. Today there are more Christians embracing the idea that the Holy Spirit may seem to humans in several different forms, like spirit guides.
The acceptance or refusal of a spirit guide is a private one that individuals make.
